Caregiver Responsibilities
As a caregiver with Caring Locals at Home, you'll provide essential support that helps seniors maintain their independence and dignity in their own homes. Your role is crucial in enhancing their quality of life.
Primary duties include:
- ✓ Personal Care Assistance: Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- ✓ Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take medications as prescribed
- ✓ Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary needs
- ✓ Light Housekeeping: Help with laundry, dishes, and maintaining a clean environment
- ✓ Transportation: Assist with appointments, errands, and social activities
- ✓ Companionship: Provide social interaction, conversation, and emotional support
- ✓ Mobility Assistance: Help with transfers, walking, and exercises as needed

Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • Compassionate and patient personality
- • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- • Ability to pass enhanced DBS check
- • Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
